I think it's a lot less visceral this way. I think it's generally a more frightening and convincing image when it's almost completely dark and you can only see a hint of the dragon. Yes, I realize that detail is lost, but in my opinion, detail comes secondary to mood. But if you really can't see the real version, check this one out.

I don't usually ask this, but FULL VIEW please! Otherwise it sucks!

Noctis means "of night" in Latin.

This is my 2nd dragon pic, started out as a crappy dragon sketch that I didn't like, then I decided to doodle on it until I liked it. I still wish I had a sense of detail like Jennadelle has, so this dragon isn't very detailed, and its skin doesn't make too much sense in some places. But oh well, I'm going for mood.

I drew the girl on a second sheet of paper and photoshopped it together. Here are some details and sketches:

only I think it's a bit to dark.. it's really hard to see the details you make

I love the HUGE wings XD Even the tip of it's tail and the smaller wings on its head makes it all the more interesting. I think you did much more than fine:)

Awesome! The monitor adjustment really helped, although I still think it's too dark for it's own good...you lost alot of awesome details on the dragon.
