Well it's about time I uploaded somethin new.
I actually sketched this like two weeks ago, before I made my Mahoromatic anime music video ... [link] ... in my quest to draw tons of fanart before JACON. Seeing as how I only have the next 8 days to draw, CG, upload, offer for print, and order prints of pics... I doubt I'll have any more than this. Drawing has been a difficult chore lately for some reason. Blah blah, the same-old info: .5mm mechanical pencil on 8.5x11 cardstock paper, Photoshop 7. Mahoro is (c) Gainax, art is (c) me. EDIT: I totally forgot to mention... but lately I've been greatly inspired by [link] ...she's younger than I am, and her anime style is soooo frigging clean, perfect, and professional looking. That's what I was going for with this x_x Still not as good as Seby... but I'll keep working at it  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I love the BG especially. The way you have the Cherry Blossom Petals coming out of the frame really helps to give it a bulk load of depth.
This is just a personal opinion so feel free to ignore it.
I personaly think you should stick to what you do best and not try to emmulate Sebs style. You haave a really unique feel, your work is somthing really special, amonst all the anime artists around yours is one of the only styles that breaks the mold and i'd hate to see that disapear as it is slowley diluted with other influences.
You have a way of drawing that is associated intirley with your name, like Shirow or Sonoda, somthing that people recognise almost instantly.
Id like to see you concentrate less on being like other arttists and more like being You.
Thats just my personal opinion.
Anyway this section is for Art critique not idiots like myself trying to preach so ill shutt up now ^^
