I want a girl that likes me.

A girl that is cute, but not a bimbo.
A girl that’s smart, but not snobbish.
A girl that’s flirty, but not because they’re trying to piss off their boyfriend.
A girl who knows all my weaknesses and doesn’t care.
A girl who you can leave alone with temptation and not worry about being hurt.
A girl that’s broken but beautiful just the way she is.
A girl who grew up never getting quite enough love,
and needs me to help her catch up.
A girl that needs cuddles to live.
A girl that doesn’t care what we do together, as long as we’re together.
A girl that throws shit from across the room at me if I make a bad joke.
A girl that high fives me if I make a good one.
A girl that doesn’t care what her friends or parents think.
A girl that doesn’t worry about what she looks like without makeup,
because she knows she’s cute (especially when I remind her).
A girl that ogles other girls just as hard, if not harder, than I do.
A girl that zones out when someone starts talking about celebrities,
but whose ears perk up if someone cites a meme or mentions video games.
A girl who carries around sharpies just to draw things on my hands.
A girl who knocks on my door at 3am and crawls into bed with me.
A girl who calls me a faggot if I bug her for anal.
A girl that returns a shoulder rub instead of backing out after she gets hers.
A girl that has plenty in common with me,
but disagrees enough that we can still have debates.
A girl that doesn’t mind being teased,
because she’s just as likely to make fun of me.
A girl that says things like “suck my dick,” because that’s cute
(unless she actually has one, in which case it’s not cute, it’s awesome).
A girl who isn’t mindlessly attracted to dumb things like rock stars,
shoe sales, and bad romantic comedies.
A girl who can drop a sick rant about religion.
A girl who makes her own morals.
A girl who hisses when the sun comes up.
A girl who eats raw cookie dough, even though you shouldn’t.
A girl that wears clothes because they feel good, not because they look good.
A girl that laughs louder the more offensive the joke.
A girl that defies the linear law of hot/crazy ratio.
A girl that discovers your porn folder and drags it into her flash drive instead
of the recycling bin.

Not because I’m “someone.”
Not because she’s trying to get over someone else.
Not because I convinced her to date me.
Not because she’s afraid of being alone.
Not because she’s drunk.
Not out of pity.
Or boredom.

Originally that text was going to go on the image; I do so hate descriptions that are show-offy leakage from the piece of art itself. But it was an awful image and the text just didn't make it better, so I'm dumping it here.

Yes, that's supposed to be me. and it's some random girl. Not necessarily what my ideal girl would look like (although a girl who wore pauldrons casually would be so cool, it violates one of the lines of text, and she would surely be snatched up by some cooler guy before I could get to her ). I realize how faggoty this makes me. But sometimes I whine about my loneliness in a drawing and sometimes it turns out decent. And besides, I needed to learn how to color again. I think it turned out okay. Make fun of me if you must, but at least I think I got the pose right |
