Commission by [link]

I lost quite a bit of speed with commissions after I decided I should try and work on my CG style... but here is some of the result. I've been casting caution to the wind and flattening often, working on one layer and painting on top of lines and other essentials. It's nerve-wracking, but it's a gigantic step in the right direction, and ultimately I like the result. My sketchy lines were nice, but they're getting in the way (literally and figuratively).

Anyway, I tried to keep this image as loose as possible. Wanted it cleaner than normal but messy enough to keep it interesting for me. It's not perfect, but I think with the style that I was going for, speed is a factor.

I've missed seeing your arts, stop hiding so much and draw more dimmit! Loving the pose tons and the background scribbles are very nice touch, too.

This has some really nice contrast to it, you seem to know what you're doing in that department, certainly :D The pose is very lively and fun to look at all over. Great work!
