This pic is retarded. Feel free to acknowledge its shortcomings, such as its painful monochromaticness, blurry glow, bad composition, skewed anatomy (and it was even worse before I 'fixed' it), fudged backgrounds (note the same style background in 2 other pics--Nike and The Demon Tree), and general halfassedness. Truly, it was a halfassed picture. Even the title suggests I don't know wtf I'm doing.

To defend it, I'll let you in on a little secret: this was the pic that got me back into drawing on a regular basis. I went all crazy with the sketch, working on it until it had a background (which I don't usually do). But I hated the coloring every step of the way. Killing it until it was dead was the only way I could tolerate it. Sometimes I feel the same about people. I hope you're not one of them.

Don't run away from your destiny. It only hurts more in the end.

Wow, this individual looks like a combination of wood, and kelp--she/he/it goes very well with the title, in my humble opinion, Fallout161, don't beat yourself up over it.^.^

it feels nearly touchable.. :)

hmm.. for the mood the pose is expressing, the coloring is appropriate in my eyes...
what do you think about giving the painting a painted frame or so?

the texture *is* really nice. I love the nice, soft, FLOWY feel this has. The colors are monochrome, but it's like...you managed to get every shade of those colors into the painting somehow. The background may be fudged, but you definitely didn't make it look as such.

Great job. She's beautiful. :)

I actually like the monochrome in this :O it looks almost as though she's lying on the bottom of the sea or something, the way the light reflects off of her. this is a great piece :)
